I began this #SCOTUS term wondering if Justice Barrett would emerge as the swing vote in the most politically charged cases—with Chief Justice Roberts and the three Democratic appointees to her left. It now seems clear that she’s only the fourth vote on that side, not the fifth.

Justice Barrett having Corner Post means I (and lots of others) were probably wrong about NetChoice (which might be coming from Justice Alito?), and also that Justice Jackson has none of today's rulings (and thus didn't write a majority opinion in April). Plots thickening.
